I needed a new speaker mount for my citizen bike. I was using the koozie I mounted to hold it, but I really wanted to use this for a drink instead. The bike has some water bottle mount screws I decided to use for the speaker mount. I measured out some dimensions, drew up a design in CAD, and 3D printed a prototype in a few hours. After one iteration adjusting the size of the loop mount on the end of the speaker, I had a working design. Putting it to the test on a few bumpy roads, sidewalks, and speed bumps proved the design to be capable of keeping the speaker secure. The design features a spot for the speaker loop to slide into to keep it secure north and south, and a rail that slides above and below the speaker to keep it from shifting left and right.
